Wheel Segments Breakdown

The numbered segments have varying frequencies: Number 1 covers 22 of the 54 segments, pays 1:1, and hits on approximately 40.7% of spins but has a low individual RTP of 92.88%. Number 2 takes 15 segments and pays out 2:1. It carries the highest RTP on the wheel at 96.23% and hits on roughly 27.7% of spins. Number 5 occupies 7 segments, pays out 5:1, and hits about 13% of spins. Lastly, Number 10 is the rarest numbered bet. It has just 4 segments, pays 10:1, and hits on 7.4% of spins. 

Landing on “2 Rolls” or “4 Rolls” transports the gameplay to the 3D Monopoly board. You need an active bet in the segment to participate. Otherwise, you watch. The live host rolls two dice, which determine the miniature Mr. Monopoly’s movement across the board. 

The bonus triggers if you land on “2 rolls”; you get a minimum of two rolls. The same logic applies to “4 rolls”. Landing on a property space during the rolls can unlock an instant prize of up to 500x. The Income Tax and Super Tax spaces are taken out from your rounds’ total. 

As with the known monopoly, throwing double grants an extra roll. The extra roll is usually where large multipliers stack up. Landing a “4 Rolls” is rare, only happening once in about 54 spins. It is where the game’s largest wins take place.

Our Testing Experience

We tracked Monopoly Live across three separate live sessions to assess its real-world bonus frequency and variance. 

The first session used a flat $5 bet split between Number 1 and the “2 Rolls” segment across 90 spins. Total wagered – $500. Number 1 hit at a rate close to its theoretical frequency. It covered most of the stake on the bonus side. We triggered “2 Rolls” twice. The first bonus round landed on two Property spaces for a modest $80 combined payout. The session ended with a net loss of $40.

For the second session, we spread $10 per spin across Number 2, Number 5, and a small side bet on “4 Rolls” over 70 spins. Total wagered – $600. We hit “4 Rolls” once, around spin 58. It was a rare occurrence given its 1-in-54 frequency. The round delivered three doubles in a row. We stacked multipliers before landing on a high-value property space for an $1,252.55 payout. The session closed with a profit of $683.4

The third session tested an aggressive bonus-only strategy, betting $15 exclusively on “2 Rolls” and “4 Rolls” over 100 spins. Total wagered – $1,369.47. The combined bonus segments hit seven times, close to the expected average of one bonus trigger roughly every 15 spins. However, five of those seven bonus rounds landed on low-value board spaces or an early Income Tax deduction. Only one round produced a meaningful payout. The session ended in a loss of $449.29.
